There's no turning back now! HA HA For an international holiday vacation we hopped the border to CANADA. It was a really exciting trip considering today is a national holiday and everything was CLOSED!
To enter CANADA we crossed the Ambassador Bridge to Windsor. To return home we took the tunnel under the river. View of downtown Detroit from Windsor, CANADA.

After the ultrasound, we had a big party with our friends to announce the baby's gender. We went out to eat Thai food and then returned to our home for a dessert bar and games. At the end of the night, the big announcement was made.

We decided to practice our parenting skills tonight by creating a fort in our family room. Four chairs, three brooms, four quilts, and countless pillows later...TA DA!!! You have a fort! We plan on sleeping here tonight in front of the fireplace!! Tyke loves it, so we figure the baby will, too!
