* Two happy little hippies *
Last night I got super creative & tie dyed a bunch of t-shirts for Zbug & me. I also did two tiny little onsies for the twins.....purple & green for the baby girl and blue & green for the baby boy. They are super dooper cute! I can't wait to dress all three of my little hipppies up in their new tie dye garb! Now I just need to talk Wes into wearing some!
Anytime Uncle Austin sits down, Zoe is not far from his lap. She always walks over to him and wants to cuddle. She adores him....can you blame her???

Big sister Zoe loves loves loves to give my BIG belly kisses. She makes the ASL sign for baby and pulls up my shirt. Then she cuddles & kisses & loves my belly until I am completely covered in her love! She is so funny. She has to kiss my belly at least five times a day. Amazing. We talk about her little brother & sister each day. Hopefully it won't be too big of a shock when they come out of that big belly!
Adventures in Eating with Zoe Part II
The other day, Z decided to give herself
a full facial & hair wrap of organic
peanut butter & grape jelly. It was all
over the place...including stuck to her
eyelashes! Yummy.

In the fourth pic, you can see how strong
& talented our baby girl is at standing &
walking these days. She is amazing. I swear
everyday when she wakes up from her nap, she
looks more like a toddler & less like my baby
girl! Life moves too fast!

It's a BOY....................
AND A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!
Well, we just experienced the shock of a lifetime this morning. We went in to our ultrasound appt at 11AM and the tech started rubbing the gel on my belly with the wand. Brief images flashed across the screen in front of us. Suddenly, she turned off the screen and looked at us and said, "Ummm...is this your 1st ultrasound?" We said, "Yeah." She said, "Well, I have some interesting news for you two.....you're having TWINS!!!" HOLY COW!! Wesley immediately started screaming, "I knew it!!! I knew it!" and gave me a high five! I just laid there on my back laughing my head off, and Zoe started to cry! It was the craziest thing I have ever experienced. The tech proceeded to conduct the ultrasound and showed us that Baby A is a girl. We were excited to have another Sugar Baby and celebrated with another high five. Then she moved on to Baby B, and lo and behold, for the first time in my family's reproductive history, there was complete plumbing for a boy perfectly visible!!!! I about rolled off the table. I was laughing so hard & crying, the lady had to stop the procedure for several minutes. Finally, we got a handle on ourselves and tried to come to grips with the new reality of our family of five. Wow. What a blessing, What an awesome resposibility! What a TRIP!!! I feel so much better now knowing that there are 2 babies in this big beautiful belly. I thought I was going crazy yesterday when I felt the baby move for the first time, once in my lower left hip area and then again a few minutes later in my upper right ribs. I thought, "Wow. This kid can really swim!" But now I know, it was a kick & counter kick. Our daughter - Baby A is in the lower left part of my uterus & our son - Baby B is in the upper right. They both have their own sacs, their own placentas, and so far, everything looks perfectly normal.....just times two!!! No wonder I have been so hungry!

A Surprise from Momma
Today I surprised Zoe with her very own swimming pool. It was SUPER hot & humid, so we got all SPFed and jumped right in!! She had a blast splashing, crawling in & out & in & out, chompin' down on otter pops, and playing with her favorite doll, Pepper.

Soakin' up the sun!

Sleeping BEAUTY
Lately Zoe has been sleeping quite well in her very own big girl bed during naps and almost through the entire night. Phew! We're all getting a lot more zzzzzzss at the Chappell house. I guess we should enjoy it while it lasts because in November we get to start all over! ha ha. :) We are really proud of her, though. She just looks so darn cute! In the morning, when she wakes up, she will crawl into our room & want to get up in our bed & cuddle with a sippy of milk.
What an amazing little kid!
This is what happens when your dad decides to style your hair!

Thanks for the new do, dadda!

Nine Long Stemmed Roses
Well, he did it again. Wesley Shawn never ceases to amaze me with his love, patience, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, hard work, and just over all good vibes! On Wednesday, we celebrated the 3rd anniversary of our 3rd marriage....our temple sealing. Wes had to work & go to class so we decided to celebrate on Thursday instead. When I got home from a DR appt Thursday afternoon, he rushed out to the car to present me with this beautiful bouquet of nine long stemmed roses. I was shocked because he had already sent me a bouquet of daisies on Monday with a card the read, "Just Because." I wasn't expecting another floral surprise so soon! He's such a good husband. I am so lucky to be his wife! So, why 9 roses???? Well, as I stated earlier, it is the 3rd anniversary of our 3rd marriage, and 3 times 3 is 9....and in December it will be the 9th anniversary of our 1st marriage....Do you follow? As you probably know, we have certainly had a colorful & creative past and our journey has been anything but boring ~ but through it all, I wouldn't change a thing!
I love our story. Thanks, Wesley.
As you wish FOREVER.
Zoe & friends enjoy a hot afternoon at a sprinkler park.
Crawling through the puddles....Zoe hates to get her face wet, so she avoided the actual sprinklers and just had fun crawling on the wet sidewalks!
Swinging with a new friend

Up & Down the slide for the 100th time!
We had a blast!!!
The happiest day of Tyke's life!
After a long awaited 2 years of living among the squirrels of MI, Tyke has finally won the battle and attacked and killed his very first squirrel. On Wednesday, he came to me wanting to go in the back yard. I opened the door for him, and by the time I could look out the window in the office, he was chasing a squirrel down the fence like crazy. Somehow the poor little rodent lost his footing and fell to his death. Tyke snatched him up and shook him like mad. I watched the whole thing in terror from the window, screaming & shaking Austin. When we were sure the squirrel was dead, we went out to assess the damage and congratulate Tyke on his first real MI kill. He was so proud of himself, and I have to admit, I was proud of him, too. Those dang squirrels have been teasing him for far too long!
